Growing up in Southern California and finding her bohemian spirit in San Francisco, a passion for plants and eclectic designed started early for the owner of House of Sunshine.
From florals to decor, Julie is inspired by the ocean and nature. Julie’s first career as a make-up artist fuels her creative use of color and textures.
Julie’s designs are sought after and she’s recognized for her artistic eye. Her designs have landed her a spot not only as a featured monthly artist at Anthropologie Newport Beach and preferred vendor for Anthropologie, BHDLN, and Nordstrom. Her indoor plant styling and landscape work can be found in the most exclusive neighborhoods of Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Monarch Beach, San Juan Capistrano, and San Clemente. Her special event work has been featured in numerous luxury venues, such as The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Monarch Beach Resort, and Surf and Sand Resort.
